Here's a nice cheap gaming laptop I ordered. I built a computer with similar specs on Newegg and it cost around $1170. Gaming laptops aren't that bad anymore. This was kinda hard to find so just sharing it. It doesn't look like a spaceship which is great.

Acer Nitro line is notorious for thermal throthling because of its slim profile with powerful specs.

You should have bought the Acer Predator Helios line. Same price, same spec but with appropriate cooling system
