Who is the most attractive video game character of all time and why is it Geralt of Rivia?
I love Reisen!
>>383108606

>>383108606
I literally just beat 3 a few minutes ago after putting it off for awhileI got the ending where Ciri becomes queen and cried like a bitch
>>383108606
Huh, that's not DMC4 dante
>>383109752
Who?
>>383110014
Venom is more handsome?
>>383110496
They look almost the exact same, nerd.
>>383108606
Garrett has a lot of fangirls. I think women find his attitude really hot.
Corvo is extremely handsome in Dishonored 2
>>383110930
i've heard that before anon. Garrett is supremely confident, snarky, talented and has a great voice. But how many girls have played a thief game? like, 12?
>>383108606
cuz he's got great fucking eyebrows
i swear the people that get mods to turn the eyebrows white should be put to death
>>383111191
>Corvo
I always thought that was a weird name.
>>383112324
confirmed amerilard

Considering that Geralt is a subject of this thread, I want to ask those of you who like the series
I got all 3 games on sale from Steam a long time ago, and started to play through chronologically, but 1 was pretty dated and generally not very fun to play from what I saw.
That said, I loved how your decisions from the first two Mass Effect games greatly influenced stuff in the last one.
Is it worth playing through Witcher 1 and 2 to see your past choices play out in 3? Because 3 seems great so far.
gay thread
>>383112652
Yes. Obviously your choices in 2 matter more, but it does all carry over.
Believe me, we all know the first game is rough. The combat is horrible, and 2's isn't that much better, but once you stick through and get to about act 4, it'll all start coming together.
Witcher 2 is much smoother and much less rough around the edges, the combat is just imbalanced as fuck.
A sidequest in Witcher 3 once sent me to check out an abandoned mansion, and when I got there, there was pretty much nothing other than some loot, and I came back and talked to the questgiver and felt like there must've been something I missed.
Then when I looked it up, it turned out that a character I had killed in Witcher 2 would have been there had he been alive and he would've had an entire questline. So it's worth it for sure.
>>383112652
1 is great for lore and twist, but doesn't really affect the other two games in the story that much. You could just read up on the plot, or watch one of those "recap" youtube videos to get a feel for it.
But it could turn you off to the series, unless you really dig it. It has faults, but it's a good game nonetheless.

Thanks anons

>when your MC is supposed to be an ugly freak of nature but you create the perfect man instead
fucking poles
>>383112652
3 has a sequence after the tutorial level where you answer questions that pertain to 2 and affect the world of 3 if you don't have a witcher 2 save on your PC, and while this is fine actually making the choices in 2 gives a lot more weight to it
1 is really rough gameplay wise (the first act and parts of act 2 are miserable) but the writing is good for the most part, 2 is like a test run version of 3
>>383112652
I wouldn't force myself if you dislike playing 1 & 2. I went in blind without playing the previous games to the Witcher 3 and i established my knowledge of most factions and the story in general by the time i reached Novigrad (which is pretty early in the game).
>>383113192
No worries. Just take your time with it, don't rush it. First game is best when taken slow. If you get mindlessly bored, skip it. Get to 2 and 3, they are worth it.
>>383113220
Yeah I've played enough of it to get to that part, and that's the thing that made me consider playing through the other two first. Because I had not the slightest idea what this guy in the frilly black outfit was asking me about, didn't know who any of those people were.
I'd imagine it's a lot more enjoyable if you do.
>>383108606
It's still this sexy wolfman.
>>383113530
elaborate
>>383109420
Did you romance anyone? Cause id not, play blood and wine.
>>383113424
Superior wolfman
>>383113192
Protip for me is to just play on the lowest difficulty for the first 2 games. I find no shame in playing lower difficulty when the gameplay is shit
>>383113949
Might do that.
That's what I do for playthroughs of the first two Mass Effects. More for 2 than 1 though. Just helps it pass by faster, and you still get the experience of making the decisions.

You don't have to be gay to admit a man is attractive, anon.
I'm completely straight and I definitely couldn't name a female vidya character more attractive than Geralt.

>>383113192
1 is actually a surprisingly good game. Took me 2 attempts to really get in to it as the combat is very different (rhythm based) but it is worth it. Great world, great story, and very good characters. Far more depth than I expected. As the other anon said, take it slow and give it a chance.
>>383114063
When you play the second game be aware that there are two paths that lead to a very different experince of the story, play Roches path first or you will get kind of spoilered about something.
All the games benefit greatly from the reading the books(or more from reading the short stories, because after Triss gets crippling diarrhea the books turn to shit)
>>383122618
Why is Roche such a bro.No idea how someone could leave Dijkstra to kill him and Ves after they helped you at Kaer Morhen.
Easy
>>383108606
