How involved is setting up Fightcade?
>>383077214
how do I go about playing HFTF? Get GGPO and then what?
I wish my internet was good enough to get consistently good matches
>>383077550
Easy as fuck, you don't even need to forward ports anymore
>>383077582
GGPO is dead, Fightcade is where everyone is now.

It's pretty simple. Fightcade already has an emulator in it so you don't need anything else and other than that you just stick in the jojoban files in the rom folder without extracting it.

Jojoban files are here along with i think every other game you can play on Fightcade. In Fightcade you just click a name and it asks the person for a match and opens a new window.

>combos arent complicated
>1f links everywhere
>bnb combos are 50+ hits
>walk canceling for extra frame advantage to make more combos possible
have you ever even played this game?
>>383078028
Alright, thanks anon. Is there some way to practice instead of playing other people? Never got to play much HFTF

Dio bnb combo

Thanks, my ninja.
Gonna set this up and get bodied tonight.

There's a challenge mode in the game that's basically just an arcade mode. I would practice learning new combos in a 2 player match against myself and loading a savestate when i wanted to start over instead of going thru the into and getting my gauges up again.
Good characters to start with are Chaka, Dio, or Black Polnareff since they're fun to use and easy to learn. Dio isn't as easy but he has so many combos that you'll manage to get a couple of them in. Every character uses the semi circle punches for combos too so getting into a new character is easy. If you're having trouble with a combo that needs two attacks at once just press the button that basically presses them all at once and it's easy peasy.

dio is not a beginner character. he's just a worse, harder version of jotaro. shadow dio on the other hand is a beginner character.
>>383079703
I've never actually gotten into a fighting game before this one and DIO was simple for me, winning matches with him isn't that hard either.

Chaka

Jojo is known for TONS of 1 frame links so I don't know what you're talking about. It's fun and "easy" at a casual level but anything above that is stupid hard.

Why do these retards never know what "BnB" means?
>>383080691
in jojos, a 50 hit combo is a bnb. anything less than that is a bad combo. jojos is literally known for having 80% combos that are incredibly difficult to learn due to tight links and walk canceling
>>383080857
Okay, you're a retard who doesn't know what a BnB is. Cool. Doesn't answer my question.
>>383080963
bread and butter combo aka something you do consistently for good damage
yes, a 50 hit 60% damage combo is a bnb in jojos.
