This is exactly the case with Cemu. It started in October of 2015 and most of the games that matter work amazingly well. It hasn't even been 2 full years yet.

I beat Persona 4 a few months ago with PCSX2 and I had a blast. I expect to also have a great time playing Persona 5 on the RPCS3.
