You can notice it even just moving your mouse around. It's extremely worth it if you play any reaction based games (I play a lot of CS:GO and osu! so the upgrade was a no brainer for me).

Pic related is my monitor. I didn't think I would see a difference between 60 and 144, but there is definitely a HUGE difference. It's great when playing FPS games like Left 4 Dead 2.
Remember, though, that not a lot of games can run 1080p 144 FPS.

When I first got mine I spent about 10 mins just moving my mouse around and dragging windows around shitting my pants. I have my 60 as my second monitor and the difference is incredible.
