Subnautica is really good and it has unlimited potential when it's released, yet we all know the Dev team aren't going to add 'loads of new creatures / zones / stories / vehicles' once their DLC comes out.
Basically a great game, but wasted potential.

One of the big things that has bugged me about Subnautica is that they haven't just been adding one or two doodads for bases a week.

Besides being able to find them for free here's an idea I'll throw out there for free because of the limited map space.

Item sets: Basically you have a fabricator that can built base doodads for materials. You find an item set, it adds like ten aesthetic items you can craft from this

That would be fun as a side note but it would completely ruin the atmosphere, exploration and journey within the game. You are meant to be alone, you are meant to feel alone on an alien world.

I don't understand why people always need 'multiplayer' in their games these days. It would detract from what makes this game stand out as a survival game.

When the Forest introduced Co-Op it literally added nonthing but 'merrrh we can build bases faster now and make them look good'.

The diamonds are found later in the game. You need to be able to go deeper.

Early game water is form the pink looking fish (bladderfish) or from bleach (coral sample obtained with knife and salt)

I didn't say it wouldn't leave EA. I said it would reach 1.0 and then the devs would stop work on it regardless of whether the players consider it "complete" or not.

This isn't a bad game and works well single player with everything i've just stated and does what it is supposed to do. The Devs have stated Multiplayer is a complete no go, thank fuck. It would ruin it.

You sound like a man child spitting his dummy out for a bad purchase. I'm glad you enjoyed multiplayer in The Forest but mulitiplayer in Subnautica wouldn't add anything too it. Go play one of the many other games with Co-Op if you're that crazy for company.

Perhaps i interpreted that wrong but whatever i'm not going to sit and argue on 4chan about something so childish.

Anyway, as you also said i actually am also concerned as well l that they'll finish 1.0, release a DLC (what DLC would they even release? A new Biome?) and then leave it behind. Hopefully they don't because there is so much they could do once the game is out. If they incorporate modding it would be amazing.

It was designed as a coop game, but they wanted to get development rolling so they just started working on the gameplay before worrying about multiplayer. Now they're in too deep and pushed coop back to its own separate longterm goal, similar to Don't Starve, and are ignoring it in the short and medium term. If they were a bit more competent from the get-go, we could already have a coop Subnautica.

Batteries/Power Cells can be recharged once you build their respective charger. If you don't know how to get them out of their equipment, press R to switch them out, find the Cell on the vehicle to remove it.

Power Cell rechargers trade evenly with consumption in the Cyclops, it's not worth it. Battery Rechargers are fine because you need them for your equipment although personally I just make sure everything is full before setting out instead.
