I was likely gonna play them anyways, but even though BW2 is my favorite Pokemon game for reasons that aren't purely based in aesthetic, what is there to Alola from SM isn't really enough to salvage unlike BW1.

I'd rather see the Emerald/HGSS Director, since really the only way to make me like Alola more would be to just add onto what's already there like they did with those games instead of trying to restart from the same foundation like BW2 did. There's no way I'll enjoy a campaign in the Alola region very much unless the region is redone from scratch, but I'd love a good Battle Frontier. Even though I don't really care for HGSS.
