Ok friendo listen here. Using this screenshot, and treating DD's back left leg in the same plane as Venom's right leg, It's mathematically impossible for DD to be a wolf, unless you're implying he is extremely small.

In this screenshot, DD measures 347 pixels tall to the shoulder (honestly this number is probably a little high since I'm measuring from his back left leg to the right side's highest point), and venom is 822 pixels. That means that DD's shoulder height is about 42% that of Venom's.

Venom is shown in game to be the same height as the real big boss. Big boss has two different heights listed; 5'11" and 6'3.5"

Venom, however, is shown to be roughly the same height as Ocelot, who is 5'11".

This would make DD about 30 inches tall at the shoulder. A wolf on the small side of things is 32 inches at the shoulder.

Calling DD a wolfdog would be understandable, but calling him a full on wolf is just asinine
