With few exceptions, there are giant marketing campaigns behind those games to make them popular, and the quality of the game is always questionable at best.
Example: This Unity tech demo was jizzing esports all over /v/ through paid shills for months.

E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy

Atmospheric is the ultimate buzzword, it's just a combination of good music and good visuals and I wouldn't trust the opinion of anyone too stupid to decipher that and use those words instead.
Good gameplay is actually an assessment of the game, subjective yes, but it's a brick along the way to actually describing the merits of the game, followed by a description of what is good about it we have a real series of facts in the making.
"Dynamic" gameplay is a marketing buzzword, if someone said something that stupid to me I would walk away because it sounds like its right out of the mouth of some youtube dipshit.
You should start by explaining the gameplay and citing what it does that's unique or original or ever-changing, then let the other person draw the conclusion that it's dynamic.

The difference between irrelevant buzzwords, and facts, is that you can't break down a fact in 1 irrelevant buzzword.

They're only shorthands because your tiny brain can't possibly compute and transcribe a justifiable reason for why you play a trash game so you resort to the marketing bullshit that made you buy it in the first place.
>>
>>382935056
Or maybe it's you who demand arbitrary convoluted explanations because you can't cope with the fact that some games you don't like are actually enjoyable for other people and only justification your damaged ego can accept is that of intellectual basis, which in turn you base on semantic complexity as it the only perceivable measure of intellect for you?
Here's a shorthand version: you're an autist.

Analyizing things too right? No surprise nobody will ever believe in video games as an art form, I don't either tbqh.
Either way, go back to your youtubers screaming words like "Extreme" and "intuitive" to the tune of fart jokes and maymays, I'm not reading the rest of your post, you made me lose too much faith in humanity.
>>382935774
Yeah but that's the problem. I've seen through that illusion so anyone who tries it immediately gets a fail in my books and so does whatever game they're pimping.
But I'll try any game if someone gives me a solid breakdown of why it's good, not just that it's good.
