Saints row 1 was a campy if not offensively mediocre SA clone while SR2 managed to seperate itself with just enough sillyness mixed with solid writing
later games both went overboard with the stupidity and "fellow kids" wacky schtick.
at least saints row didn't replace the main character's VA for no reason, save for Shaundi and Ben King
