They are all past 3.55 at this point, a firmware from 2010. I've ran into so many ps3 in the last 3 years and they were all 3.56 or higher.

The cell is a poorly designed and documented processor. Getting anything playable is a major achievement. Fuck, Catherine and that Scott Pilgrim game run fine on them, it'll only be a matter of time.

No it doesn't, they're the same PPC arch. The difference is: 360 has 3 PPEs, and the PS3 has 1 PPE with 8 (6 usable for games) SPEs.
