If you enjoy hoi3 and superpower you should definitely buy hearts of iron darkest hour. Medieval 2 + expansions is better than Empire.

I'd also recommend Endless Legend, it's a civ-like which I bought at the start of the sale and have already put 49 hours into.

FTL is also really cheap and you can push a good 10-20 hours of fun out of it easily. It looks simple but has a surprising amount of depth.

If this is a problem then you shouldn't get it. You can mod the game to remove the timers or use True Concealment, but the game is balanced around the timers existing so the missions will be easier when it's removed.

The Long Dark is terrible, literally a chore to play with very little replay value.

Consider that the TES games are huge and will take a ton of time to play through if you ever get around to it, they also used to go on much larger sales a few years ago (80-90%).

From the ones that are available on Steam, Hot Pursuit is pretty good arcadey fun. Surprisingly enough, playing as the cops and knocking out the racers is the best part of the game. It's not a long game though, beat it in about 11 hours. Also, you'll get ads for Need For Speed World, a game which got cancelled.
