it's so your settings are profiles are saved across all pc's you own. it's pretty useful imo but if you don't want it just install drivers directly from the geforce website.

Why would you even install GE Experience? You can choose what components to install. You don't need anything besides the driver and physx.

no it isn't. it helps a lot. i've had to re-install windows 10 like 3 times already because of corrupted bootloop updates and also a failed hdd and this thing helps a lot. i can just re-install all my games from steam and play them at the settings i had before i reinstalled windblows and i don't need to spend ages tweaking settings back to how i liked them before. it's literally plug and play and it also removes the excuse that pc's take too much tweaking which consoleplebs keep going on about because this thing can automatically optimize your games without you doing anything for consistent 60 fps performance at your resolution.

this thing is good. just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's useless for everyone else.

nah it only does saved games and keymaps. steam cloud is good, but keep in mind that there are games which aren't on steam which you might own e.g torrented games or GOG games etc.
