First one was better but I dont think 2 is a bad game.
Following up to a phenomena is hard and HLM1 became one, all things considered I think they did an alright job.

Corey best Fan.
Watching paint dry would be "fun with friends".
>>382839087
First one was a great game.
But the second one was pure character-kino
I 100% the two games, you need kino skin.

she'd rip your balls off, dude.
So you kino folks like getting crossmapped by aimbot-tier AI?
>>382840859
>he cant bait enemies
Short somewhat novel cutscenes in between hours and hours of horrible gameplay.
>>382839087
I think because it's challenging and it plays really well. And the story is genuinely affecting if you pay attention. And the soundtrack is one of the best ever.

>tfw you never expected this game to make you cry like a bitch at the ending
This game is a personal 10/10

Why is Ermac in it?
>>382841370
The first one is challenging and plays well. 2 is just unfair and shitty.
It's the perfect sequel: it's different from the original and more difficult, thus providing a fresh and challenging experience which provides fans of the first game a rewarding experience.

Okay, but how is getting fucked crossmap at the edge of a giant open space by someone who shouldn't have been able to see you according to the game's stealth system anything but cheap? It doesn't feel rewarding at all, either, because you don't feel like you accomplished it with skill, you feel like you accomplished it with luck.

>Game regardest having the best soundtrack of the year
>Not even an OST

Use the shift key and your mouse to look ahead and shoot the enemies before they shoot you, or bait them if you're using melee, or quickly spin your character when you hear the ai's shot and dodge the bullet (if you're playing as a character with roll dodge you can just hit space in this scenario). Also I found the AI to be less accurate with their guns than in HM1, thus balancing the large levels.
>>382842956
the roll dodge defaults to one side if you don't give it a directional input, which irritates the fuck out of me
>>382842956
>bait them if you're using melee
>not relying on your adrenaline and having your thumb over the R key

First off, there's no stealth in Hotline Miami, never was. The first game was easy, just run in and melee as fast as you could (that's how you A+ every level). HM2 you have to be constantly looking ahead and moving, the large levels are balanced out by the AI being less accurate and their shots being slower than in HM1 (if you're good at the game you can dodge their shots by spinning the character using your mouse). I got A+ and S ranks in every level in both easy and hard mode in HM2 and it felt great, the A+ in every level in HM1 was easy. TLDR: you only dislike the game because you suck at it.

Genuinely fun gameplay, high tier soundtrack, the visuals are cool but I can understand its not for everyone
I swear to Christ it's literally the same guy who makes these type of threads and features the hm2 poster everytime
It's better than the first if you're not a fucking terrible at video games get over it
>>382845589
My only problem with this game is that the windows blend too much into the fucking background. Otherwise, it's pretty good.
