Is the terrain randomly generated?

I thought it wasn't, but I ended up restarting today after I felt like I fucked my base up and wasted too many resources, and nothing looks the same.

I really want to play but that crap was really a huge turn off, that and when I tried to ignore it I ended up having to cut through and open doors like 6 times each.

The game is pretty much ready to play right now, it only lack some very few things before the ending is totally ready. You should be fine to play.
