They also changed it so enhanced armor affects combats stats now. They also removed animations for drinking potions, so now you don't even have to worry about dodging. I might give it a try for the combat and waifus (probably all solo play) but don't want to invest money or delve deep into enhancing where weapon break becomes real, I'm guessing the first few enhancements are 100% success right?

Nexon NA. Though my main gripe with it was that Devcat steadily got worse and worse at really designing anything, shit like the "anti" whale defense buffs to bosses that only harmed non-whales and abandoning set gear on their test servers ended up with dumb shit that they eventually reverted after a year or so. Not sure why you would ever sincerely balance raids around parties that have the literal best gear you can possibly obtain. I had an older AMD card back when I played too so shit like Iset's energy attacks and Siglint's lightning were semi-invisible due to a bug they knew about but never actually tried to fix afaik.

it's laggy as fuck when I played. whenever I grouped up with people the monsters would teleport all over, raids were basically a huge joke. even without lag the animations for the attacks very robotic and jarring, as if they were missing animation frames.

the grinding was boring as fuck, you would basically run past the whole level to the creatures you wanted to grind. in between all of the loading screens it took you 10-15 minutes to action fight a single monster. if you wanted to play in a group it took even longer.

the grinding was also made even more tedious and slow on purpose because of all of the gold farming.

I like the idea of the game but the mechanics or too outdated and poorly implemented and the servers are awful.

The game needs a competitive element. Nobody wants to hear it but any game with any real semblance of longevity that doesn't rely on sequels pretty much has to have it.

This game can't do what WoW does because making new bosses/dungeons is way harder with an action combat system. They need to either make decent PvP or find some sort of competitive PvE setting like boss races or some shit.

Back when S2 started some whales made a video on the test server where they just trans spammed Kraken down, the response was to bump both Kraken and Lakoria's defense to 12k~ (forgot the exact value) to prevent this from working. Problem is that 12k is nothing to anyone running around with 15-16k attack, ie a whale, so all the buff did was make it harder for anyone else since even with the buff you could still do the trans rush strategy without issue if you had whale tier gear. Anyone else actually had to fight Kraken as designed. They got rid of the defense buff about a year later and set it to the initial defense value they first had on the test server.

Test gear used to exist early in the game's life, so anyone that logged in there only had a +10 ivory weapon and their respective hilder set. They got rid of it towards Episode 9 or something since when 24 man Elchulus first showed up on test everyone pointed out it was literally impossible to kill him due to how much health he had, the only two successful kills had his AI glitch so he just sat there doing nothing. Their solution was to ignore feedback and go live, then they had an emergency maintenance where his health was halved because no one was able to kill him. Afterwards they changed it so that you use your real gear on the test server, which is really weird because that only resulted in dumb shit like the aforementioned S2E1 raid buffs and the initial version of the troll island (KR version only) where even the turtles would one shot your armor pieces. Can't actually think of any other game where the developer actually tried to get rid of controls, even Gazillion hasn't really done anything that dumb and they've had multiple instances where people pointed out that they fucked up basic math.

Level 60 cap was definitely the best era for the game

Delia is my favorite character though holy crap I want to be her in everything

I had a huge amount of fun leveling her soloing everything dressing up the whole way

They gave me level 90 +10 Gear in the mail though with the new update so there's not a lot of reason to do anything anymore though since that was like as good as I could hope for to begin with
