the gimmick is neat but gets old fast and there's no other game mode to play until you beat the dogshit """"""story"""""""" which is about 2 hours longer than it should be (its 2 hours long) and the story is a lot of fucking stupid filler bullshit where you're not shooting things in slow motion

Superhot is best played in VR. Don't bother with the OG version.

How worth it is depends on how much you have to spend, but it is a really, really good game
