Why are there people like this? I like the game a lot, but this is a problem, you don't have to make up shitty excuses that it's better because it's realistic. You can still like the fucking game without defending every flaw it has.

Lex Lang can't laugh as good as Clancy brown
Bosses don't have their end speeches
Bosses in crash 2 have their own gate meaning you no longer fight them on the way up to the next warp room
The ending cutscenes are great but they cut off too quick
End credits is just one credits for all 3 games
In crash 2 just before the hologram animation finishes the characters go to a default face before disappearing this ruins the immersion of being 'cut off'
Boulders break boxes and count as a box hit which removes the difficulty of those levels
Lighting can have this nightmare effect on crash having his eyes too dark.
In jet pack levels crash no longer gets giddy as he puts it on he jumps and walls cover him while he puts the jet pack on to cover the animation
I agree with what the others have said but will also add
Long load times suck but they're unbearable when you have to quit a level and re load it just to restart when there's already a restart option that's exclusive to time trials

See I didn't really have an issue with how jumping works now, I was able to manage fine despite some hiccups at the start. Although wasn't that one of the things VV went out of their way to make a little different? I remember seeing them mention somewhere that they wanted to change up the game slightly so even older players could get a new experience out of it.
Whether they succeeded is up for debate, but personally I don't see too much of an issue with it. If the game was completely 1/1 the same as the originals I would've beaten them all in a day and that wouldn't be fun. It feels like I'm playing these games for the first time.
However I can see why some are complaining about it. Though speaking from when I played it, I only had some issues at the beginning but I was able to adjust after a while. It feels like they may or may not fix how jumping works given how many players are getting through the games just fine.

tl;dr the jumping is different and may be an issue to some but it feels like something a decent player can adjust to no problem after a while

I only played the first game so far. My only complaint is that the music in Hog Wild and Whole Hog isn't synced up with the animations at the start of the level and it ends up not being as humorous to me.

The collision detection when landing really needs to be improved. Right now there is nothing more frustrating than to just barely miss a falling platform and fall to my death, and then to see the platform still fall because I only barely touched it. If I touched it enough to make it fall, then I should have touched it enough to stick the landing.

That's how it worked in the originals, though. Possibly not 1, I don't remember exactly because getting the boxes in 1's boulder levels is brain dead, but certainly in 2 and 3

No. Great platformers have a certain structure to their obstacles. Crash just has a pit, and then an enemy, and then a pit, there is no coherence or escalation to it. The levels might aswell be designed by a random number generator.

There was a jump in the bonus section that I only made 1/25 attempts in the first bonus level of Crash 2. I was trying it for so long that the rest of the people watching complained so I moved on, so no 100% boxes.

I was told you get a double jump, but sometimes I got up onto the ledge and other times I'd slide off. Seriously like a 1 frame of physics engine difference or something fluky.
