As a Gief player in ST it's a hard matchup for this situation.

My entire gameplan in this matchup is to just walk up and block and use lariats to avoid tiger shots and slowly get the O.Sagat player to back up into the corner. At the same time I'm looking to keep maximum range to hit with standing MK or crouching HK. Once they're in the corner i maintain sweep distance while exerting the psychological pressure of an SPD coming anytime to the O.Sagat player. What i'm doing is i'm trying to read and see if I can condition the O.Sagat player to keep blocking low. Depending on life situation I may attempt a jump in tick SPD to test my opponent's reactions.

To be fair, Jwong picks up and learns almost any fighting game within an incredibly short amount of time. The first time he picked up smash bros he learned for about 15 minutes before a tourney and still got top 4 with it.
