Use weakness chains to inflict status effects. Especially stuns.
In order to do this, you're going have to customize a combo in the menu during basically every single boss fight.

git gud. Actually blocking at the perfect timing usually stuns then and you can get easy attacks that drop souls when they stunned.

She has easy access to just about all the weaknesses and high base focus so she is getting status effects more which feeds her souls, which she can use to spam her break soul.

Who should be sitting on the bench? I put magilou and eizen. But I like magis aoe attacks

Magilou's Spell Absorber is way to strong to be benched imo.

If you dodge an attack at exactly the right time, a powerup will drop that will give you one soul once picked up.

Later in the game, you will 'charge up' when blocking for 2 seconds. The next attack against a blocking opponent will break their block and grant you a soul I think.

Rokurou stays on the bench unless he has a human playing him.

The AI cannot into parrying. Eizen and Eleanor do the same thing so either can be benched and you won't lose much.
