How do you feel about the fact that Final Fantasy XV was a massive success and Square sees it as such?
>>382734417
Even if the combat was really dull and literally hold a button to win, I enjoyed the story. I think it more than made up for everything else.
Fishing was my favorite thing in the game by far.
I hope KH3 is more complete than FFXV was.
>>382734580
>I hope KH3 is more complete than FFXV was.
I think it will be, XIII era Square is not the same as XV era Square.
They're much more committed to getting shit done now
>>382734686
If kh3 takes the same direction as 2.9
I will be disappointed, but after waiting so long My hopes are weary
>>382735045
Really? I loved 2.8 (or rather 0.2). Gameplay felt fantastic.
>>382735226
It was okay, it just felt a little floaty to me, but I'm sure there are people who like that style of combat,I would also have said story..
but I'm sure thats a poor choice
>>382734417
>we need 10 million sales to be successful
>6 million sales
>WE DID IT FINAL FANTASY IS SAVED
They don't consider it a success, they were just walking back their own ultimatum. Notice that immediately following that, they moved FF7R development in-house and started a hiring spree. THAT is FF's make-or-break moment, like it or not.
>>382735614
>>we need 10 million sales to be successful
Tabata disproved this instantly, quit with the misinformation
>>382734686
At this point Square needs to get their priorities straight. They should have held off on FFVII remake until KH3 was done.
>>382734417
Big name games from veteran devs literally cannot fail unless there is a serious bungling with the budget. What's next, IGN review scores indicate quality? Little bitch ass weeaboo.
>>382734417
I really didn't like XVs story or combat, but man, I had fun driving around with my bros. Not too many games have that, it was pretty unique in a sense. I'm all for SQEX trying new twists on old formulas, even if they aren't great.
>>382735926
>Square Enix damage controlled instantly, please don't remember what he said
ftfy
>>382734417
I'm still waiting for a complete edition. It looks alright though.
>>382736325
>everything is damage control
I have have learned to accept the fact that FF fans will eat shit if they have to, so I have moved on.The FF franchise is a lost cause.
>>382736420
When you have to damage control what your directors say all the time and pay off Sakaguchi to praise your game, you know the game is a blunder
>>382734417
>a was wrong about FFXV
lmao, if true.. alright I forgive you, just quit the Xbone shilling and maybe you'll be remembered fondly.
Couldn't care less, to be honest. Final Fantasy went to shit decades ago, and the newest entry looks retarded. My friend says Conan's "review" of it wasn't far off, which is pretty funny.
>>382734580
What story?
>>382736787
Is that a man?
>>382736947
Well, more so the interactions.
>>382734417
Is this a real video?
>>382736702
You literally think everything is a conspiracy huh
>>382736702
>>382737368
and on top of that using le meme youtube asian
are you a teenager
>>382737368
>conspiracy
man, you sure are dumb
>>382737589
>clearly Square payed off everyone
>clearly it's all a ruse to cover a messy game
>clearly I'm correct about everything
no kid, you're dumb
>>382737670
>only said Sakaguchi
>clearly Square payed off everyone
Man, you really are dumb
>>382737753
Honest question: Sakaguchi already said he didn't like XII or XIII. Why would he SUDDENLY be paid to support XV you moron
>>382737827
XII and XIII were much better games than XV.
>>382737827
>pay him now so fans buy this trainwreck after xiii and xiv nearly killed the series
Man, you really are dumb
>>382738136
XII maybe
XIII no fucking way, that's anime trash with terrible gameplay.
>>382738180
Be honest, how old are you?
>>382737827
Both he and Square are a lot more desperate now
>>382738360
>can't handle the truth
>can't deny anything I've said
>starts accusations of underage
Sakaguchi even admitted that when he was brought in for the Uncovered event for xv, it was literally just an endorsement to get people excited and make it seem like the game had his seal of approval. Your game is mediocre, get over it
>>382738741
So I'm guessing under 20 then?
>>382738776
>But I think Square Enix is also afraid that people are going to associate any success of the new Final Fantasy with the my seeming return, as if I have any influence on the game or am involved with the development. So they simply want me to show my face once in awhile as the initial creator of the series.
>So it’s more of an endorsement?
>Yes, that’s right.
I'm sorry, your game was mediocre and gooch was paid off
>>382739014
I'm sorry kid, you'll grow up one day. :)
>>382734417
>massive success
Was it really? Do we have some numbers?
Honestly it didn't feel like a massive launch. People talked about it a little after launch and then it just kinda died off.
>>382739189
No definitive sales numbers, but SQEX say 6m (digital sales + shipped)
>>382739079
>this is the typical xv defense force
Here I thought it's fans actually liked the game and would try defending it
Guess not
>>382739459
I thought that people would have legitimate criticisms of the game but it turned out to be typical teenage cynicism.
>>382739521
>still can't prove anything I said wrong
>underage accusations and now "no u"
>this is the typical xv defense force
damn
>>382734417
Oriental boy bands are the future of gaming!
I've never played it and don't plan to. Waiting warmly for the series to return to some form of turn-based.
