Is the special edition easy to mod? Are the same mods compatible?

Runs way better and you don't have to worry about any kind of shit. Not even edit some .ini file same as FO4, SSE is a stability heaven and perfomance God, If you have a decent system of course. (Muh the game is shit because my system is old junk).
THE PROBLEM. Still NO SKSE and a lot of the good old mods will never be ported to SSE. Also NO Subsurface Scattering (at the moment) using ENBs.

SSE cured my cancer. I spend around 2500 hours of my so-called life playing the old SKYRIM dealing with all the crashes and loading times. Now playing SSE I don't have to worry about anything the game runs vaseline and almost 0 crashes.
I really respect Bethesda for the "gift" the game was free on PC.

None of the important modders create mods for SE. There aren't even any sex mods for it.

It sucks for me.
With my 780 TI I'm able to run a modded skyrim and looks like a current gen game with a lot of textures and plugins.
But I can barely runs skyrim SE with a modest reshade and some texture mods.

Yeah SSE is way better than the original skyrim only if you have a modern system also the lack of SKSE not even worth the download of the game.

Has something to do with SSE being 64 bit, I think. Plus a lot of modders don't want to go back and redo their fucking mods for special edition.

The only that I really miss is RaceMenu.
I don't remember any other SKSE dependent mod on my old load order.
