By all means there's nothing wrong with it but as something in Persona series it just feels generic and bland. Like it feels like it doesn't even belong in Persona series.

First of all, 4 and Apocalypse are not even half as popular as Persona. Atlus already said Persona is the best selling part of the entire SMT franchise and that P5 is the best selling in general.

The main reasons why Persona became far more popular than SMT is because of the switch into a more accesible artstyle AND because they dropped the majority of fedora tipping edgy bullshit, by not showing/mentioning the yellow fellow, cutting on the religious subtones and explicitly saying stuff like "the personas are not actually demons/divine, they're just manifestations of a person's psyche!"
