Really, would Guilty Gear be half as fun if not for the crazy cast full of veritable explosions of personality? After all, consider that the mechanics of the game were explicitly designed such that playing the game would be like watching an anime fight scene, which is an aesthetic end. I think the game looks pretty good on the CEO demo. Even characters like Dante or Chun looked good in motion.

the roster will probably have 36-40 characters, not just 28 and in that case it will be alright

MVCI will probably have a good online and netcode since Sony and Microsoft are providing dedicated servers for the game and it won't have cross-play that fucked up SFV's netcode.


MVCI will probably be solid and I'm sure people shitposting about it (like 98% of the people who know about it) only do so because they are 100% sure at the weak roster leaks (even tho not even the leaker is sure about it) and they don't realise that the bad visuals are mostly from an outdated build.

I was delighted to finally see X in a fighting game using his special weapons, but it feels kinda lacking when compared to Zero's overall moveset. Somehow, some way I expected better, but he still looks fun to play, though.

I agree about the supers, they're kinda lame, though I liked that they actually incorporated the double shot in some form, that was my favorite buster upgrade. The First Armor just looks bad, though. It's probably the worst armor design, and underlines one of the weaknesses of the way armors were implemented. I kinda liked how Mega Man 6 or 7 did it better.
