I have a good quality 4k tv and a PS4 pro and Xbox one. I will get the the one X when it is released, for any Multiplatform game that is released I will buy the version with the best support for high end displays.

Gears 4 has the best third person shooter multiplayer this gen, and PC population is mostly dead so Xbox is the way to go
Forza Horizon 3 is the best racing game in recent memory, specially with the Hot Wheels expansion. PC port was poorly optimized so it was wise to go with Xbox version at first, which is where everyone picked it up.
Halo 5 has the best multiplayer fps this console generation.
Sunset Overdrive is a great game if you can get it cheap.
Game pass is a great subscription if you're a casual, gives you access to more than 100 games for $10 a month. It's an option, and it downloads the game instead of streaming it.
It's the only console that has real backwards compatibility, now with two consoles. Supports both disc and digital bc
Kinect sucked absolute ass, but some people might have thought it distinguished the console enough for it to be "innovative" but that's a stretch
Merging W10 and Xbox ecosystem, introducing crossplay with multiple platforms, adding clubs and tournaments within Xbox Live, etc are all small innovations that accumulate over time creating a solid experience.

This is the downside of coming out with a console that is just a small upgrade to the previous one. Of course you don't wanna fuck over the people with older Xbones but with no exclusives there's no reason to buy a console in the first place. I'd buy an Xbone X in a heartbeat if it had games worth playing, but the slight edge it has on my PC in terms of specs is grossly outweighed by the amount of games I have access to on my PC.

I have a one S with bf 1 and halo 5. $250 was a decent price, but I wasn't gonna drop $500 on the one X as I built a monster PC in February.

The Xbone has nothing of significant interest that isn't also on PC.
