The market is flooded with random anime fighters that nobody plays.

The problem with a Fate/Unlimited Codes 2 is that it will not stand out at all, outside some extreme cross-promotion. DBZ or DBSuper or whatever can get away with it, because everyone has seen DBZ and, good or bad, has some sort of opinion about it. They'll pick up a DBZ game because they recognize DBZ and might want to see what it plays like.

Pokken is known because it's Pokemon, which is even more popular.

Fate/Unlimited Codes is just going to look like every other Japanese anime fighter out on the market today. While Fate fans would care (and would be more discerning, possibly meaning less sales) but the vast majority of the public would not know this from Arcana Heart or BlazBlue. And no amount of various flavors of Saberface are going to change their minds on that.
