atleast mission design was god tier

I could get past the ridiculous chitinous high heels and Kerrigan contradicting her own moral code every 5 minutes.

I can even grin and bear it when Stukov is brought back for no reason after he literally exploded.

But the way they wasted Samir Duran after everything he did in Brood War and the way he played Raynor like a fiddle in Wings of Liberty is straight up unforgivable.

They didn't retcon that tho. They retconned the bit where zerus used to be a desolate planet devoid of life into jurassic park zerg edition.

The corrupted samples are still canon, hell, the game remarks how the primal zerg stole and adapted kerrigan's brood newer creatures like the roaches and hydralisks also explains why they were just boring recolors.

The rest of the points are true tho, i completely forgot the magic bubble was a psi disruptor.

Raynor spent the later half of the protoss campaign figthing alongside the protoss, fought the overmind, fended off the zerg in the aiur warpgate, and then throught broodwar since the beggining of the UED campaign. Until the kerrigan betrayal he was alongside Fenix, he knew fenix more than say, mengks, duke or hell even kerrigan.

So it wasn't something in the heat of the moment. He saw the protoss he fought alongside for god knows how many months all die unceremoniously by being backstabbed by Kerrigan. He is pissed because in all due honesty they were probably the last friends he had besides his crew in the hyperion.

I do remember some bits where he was more "comfortable" with Kerrigan, and actually acted friendly since she appeared to just be fighting the bigger threat at the time.

The whole point of the Primal Zerg arc was making Kerrigan a Zerg again. Even after WoL was centered on depowering her back to human-ish.

The story is such a mess though. I remember reading that Blizzard ordered Cerebrates being phased out so as get in bed with Games Workshop, so I can imagine all the other shit (Primal Zerg, Stukov, etc.) were part of the same directive.
