The entirety of the Touhou franchise was built on the divide between canon and fanon

Cloud from FF7 was a dork who got in over his head when he joined the military. Basically everyone throughout the game acknowledges he's not cool at all, but by the end it's clear none of that matters and they like him anyway. His dream of becoming a 'cool anime sword dude' like Sephiroth is something he is better off without because being some stoic all powerful figure isn't what makes you a happy person.

Debatable. It's worth mentioning that Touhou on a whole doesn't have black and white morality, explicitly. While there is an absolute moral authority in canon, it seems that morality, as a whole, sways more in favor of a naturalistic point of view, where beings are expected to act within their nature (while also acting morally, of course). This means, for example, that a wolf is not sinning when it eats a rabbit, and a youkai is not sinning when it attacks a human. Regardless, as far as morality goes, even though Yukari has questionable ethics, partakes in some nasty practices, and is overall kind of a dick, almost everything she does can be seen as an act for the greater good of her home, which makes her oddly moral in a way. I mean, she would be Evil if this were DnD, but DnD ethics are simplified crap that reflects a very childish view on the world.

Not if Asgore has 7 Souls. Asgore and Toriel are the two Monsters in the game considered Boss Monsters who have their own Soul, they are already equivalent to humanity. The only ones on their level are Undyne who has innate DETERMINATION and Sans who understands meta and the game universe (and has killed Flowey numerous times). With 7 Souls he would have kicked shit in and continued to amass Souls.

Honestly the most disappointing thing about Genocide was Asgore not absorbing the other Souls like Undyne said he would and becoming a superboss right at the end.

Even with the 7 souls, he wouldn't have stood a chance against Frisk/Chara. The desire and will to kill is so strong that no monster could have stood a chance at that point, except Sans because he isn't following the rules. If it was a fair fight and Chara had recovery frames and couldn't be attacked during the menu screens, Sans would've really been the weakest enemy in the game.
