How well do you think it will sell? First time I pre-order anything since 2012
>>382581779
I have a ps4 but I'm waiting for the inevitable PC version.
>>382582964
>>382582964
Unfortunately don't think that's going to happen, Sony had too big a part in marketing and they published the JAP version. Seems this game is going to forever be locked at 30fps.

kek
>>382583067
>brand never affiliated with Playstation
>owner is now Activision, uber cashgrabbers
>multiple Crash games released on all platforms
>remake never presented as exclusive
>not even the "only on PlayStation" thing on the cover
>online shops mistakenly reveal Xbox one cover
>>382584037
Xbox version seems pointless so I doubt that's real. PC version is likely.
>>382584037
>original trilogy published by sony
>ps1 trilogy is only on PSN, never came to XBLA or steam
>retarded online retailers but crash on Xbox, the same retailer who listed Bloodborne on Wii U
>thinks it will come on PC
>>382584228
>seems pointless
Money's never pointless.
They either made it totally multiplat to sell as much as possible, or got money from Sony anyways as an exclusivity deal
>>382583437
Even though sony marketing the game doesn't means its exclusive. Why? Because Crash is owned by the greedy fucks at Activision.
>>382584367
>company published and is still selling 21 years old game on their online shop
>that means they have power over the people that bought the original IP, made it multiplat and is now about to sell a remake
>>382585504
So why didn't Activision put the original trilogy on XBLA or PC?
>>382585662
They probably would have to edit out the "SCEA" and Universal logo but are too lazy to do that
>>382585662
How many PS1-era games is Activision still selling?
It's not something they do.
Sony wanted Crash on their shop, not Activision.
>>382585662
To get even more money with a remake.
Sony published Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy in Japan.
So I guess it'll remain exclusive in Japan.
>>382586074
So they waited a decade to sell a remake when they could have easily ported crash triolgy and made more money
>>382586524
>easily
How exactly? The trilogy is marked with logos that have nothing to do with the game. Not anymore at least. To re-release them, they need to touch the original code, which they probably don't have. But even then, it would be still more than a port, almost a pseudo-remaster. It would require an actual effort.
Which is never cheap, it's an investment. For what? Re-releasing a 15 years old game on the Xbox 360 Marketplace?
Fuck that, might as well make a true remake when investors think it's a good moment.
Which is exactly how it happened
