Speaking of RE7. Do you guys think Silent Hills would have been at least in a playable state by 2017? PT was released during Gamescon in 2014 so it's about 3 years of development. I don't have the evidence, but I've heard somewhere that RE7 was made in about 3 years.

Most likely correct, more or less. Capcom now implements a "2.5 years development" plan. Releasing new major game in the series every 2.5 years
