Just to piss me off even more A2 eventually asked 2B's pod if the pot could hack stuff for her. The pod agreed and A2 was able to hack stuff open after that. This made 9S literally worthless. this was one of those games i remember being interested in getting when i first saw some reveal stuff about it, i heard it was getting a PC release so i got it the day it came out

really really enjoyed it, then over time (maybe 30 hours in) it started to drag, specifically through the 9S part of the game. i began to wonder if each playthrough would be this same stuff, over and over, but with different characters. it kind of made me disappointed but i pressed on, as much of a drag that it was, discovering the different story bits made it very much worth it.

everything changed during the C playthrough, and that's when i knew this would be a game that falls into my top 10. it's upsetting because i'm sure a vast majority of people who played this didn't go past ending A, and if they did, were dissuaded when they found out B was the same thing as A only with 9S. C is the literal sequel to the game.

I've put 80 hours into the game so far. It's a good game.

many of the issues with the port are AMD and NVIDIAs responsibility. Last I checked, AMD finally got their shit together but NVIDIA was still working on optimizations.

The issues with the PC version are very mixed. It'll either work flawlessly, need a mod to run well, or won't run at all. Try it first, if you run into issues, refund it and get it on PS4.

So far, so good. I had an AMD 7950 and it ran at about 50FPS on average and it had frame pacing issues. I have a 1060 and the framerate has steadied but there's still framepacing issues. But the FAR mod helps with the cut-scenes and it's painless. It's an .exe, it installs itself and is easy to tune. It has built in AA options and it's okay. Not a great PC port. You're going to spend more time deciding if you like the game or not than you are with having issues.

Jesus you people that bitch about 9s gameplay are autistic. You can still very easily fuck shit up with wepons. hacking is so quick and broken you can take down bosses in seconds. I have played the entire game on the pc with mouse and keyboard which is a terrible set up for this game and have yet to be bothered much by 9s gameplay.

Why does such a good game have such an inexcusably awful pc version?

I fucking love some of his heavy strings. Bracer heavy string deals a shitton of stun and sends enemies flying, large sword has a very nice crowd control moveset and both small swords and spears have spinning multihits that go well with a crit setup.

I love this game, but i got to admit that i hate the city design. It feels so empty and cheap. It's like they made it in a day. When i entered the city for the first time after the pologue i got really dissapoined and almost dropped the game. Other places like the themepark, forest kingdom and the desert is nice tho in my opinion.

The only thing that frustrated me about this game is that most of the story isn't IN the game due to budget. Story is pretty important to me and its what I get excited about in video games, what a shame to have to search threw several archives of concert, questionnaires, and collectors edition fanbook translations to put everything together.

I heard that instead of playing as 2Booty you play as 9SS 80% of the time.

I did, and it was incredibly disappointing.

I bought it immediately after the demo, watching 2B and those beautiful animations in combat, legit the best.

Then the game started showing its flaws immediately after the demo level. Invisible walls, tedious side quests that require painstakingly backtracking through precise parts of each area.

Not only that but theres no use replacing 2Bs weapoms since just upgrading her original ones trump every other weapon you come across.

And then you play as 9S, and while I love the 'different perspectives' trope of storytelling, 9S has literally half the combat capabilities of 2B, except you can hack which is the most flow breaking comcept ive ever seen in a video game period.

Quit halfway through playthrough B, game just tested my patience far too much.

I barely hacked during combat because I actually knew how to chain attacks and execute heavy attacks as 9S. I only ever hacked to control machines for fun.

I enjoyed the game alot, but not being able to use doubled up combat bracers all hours of the day because of 9S irked me. The disappointment of switching from A2 to 9S was not fun man.

Hard difficulty is the way to go.
