Bleach would probably work really well as a musou game as cliche as that goes for action anime.

It's got all the things you'd need. It has fodder enemies, a huge cast of characters both good and bad, an in-world system that would easily translate to a power attack setup (kill enemies, fill meter, shiki, fill it more, bankai, etc), and enough flexability to have a plot outside of the anime if needed as has been shown by the anime's own filler.

It's win win but Kubo fucked that and it wont happen now that the series is dead (unless we get an anime finishing out the series that brings new attention to it).
