I have a super nintendo with all of the games on the SNES mini game list (minus earthbound), and i'm going to buy an SNES mini, just to re-sell it in two or three years for an incredibly ridiculous amount of money. I wish I waited longer to sell my NES classic cause I got $300 for it.

Nah I don't think there's gonna be a lot of collecting hype moving forward into gen 5, there's not really a lot of big fancy titles that everyone remembers on the 64 besides shit that's all readily available, and the PS1 has the issue of discs being broken or scratched rendering them worthless. It's pretty much impossible to find a mint or near-mint complete PS1 game nowadays, anywhere you look, unless you're willing to pay in the hundreds for single games. And even then, same shit as the N64, cult classics, massive megablockbusters like xenogears and FFVII respectively, aside, there's not too much to the PS1 library. I think it will linger around gen 4 for a while.

I thought that too, but here I am in 2017 selling bunches of old NES and SNES games I got from blockbuster's horrible mismanagement for hundreds of dollars when I bought them for pennies. I bought I think 15 copies of FF3 on SNES for $80 total. I've sold four of them for $160. It's not something i'm going to be rich doing but it's certainly pretty surprising the amount of interest there is in this stuff.

I got MegaDrive after NES because Nintendo wasn't operating in my shithole at the time. They still don't I think, but you can import now and you had limited import options back then and you had to be a richfag
So I can see why someone would get a Mini now if they're too retarded to simply use emulators.
