Amazingly enough, you miss ZERO STORY by doing so. Maybe Corroded Elizabeth, but that's it.

You can literally skip her entire route and not be lost at what happens in the story because the entire route is Caster flirting with Hakuno. All three stories have heavy waifu pushing, but Nero and Altera routes have actual story and Tamamo's route is silly romance comedy antics.

Tamamo's Gawain Boss map is still the best battle in the game though.

No, the "original prototype" was made before Fate, but the Prototype franchise isn't. It technically reuses the scrapped ideas from Fate/Stay Night but everything got redesigned and rewritten to the point that it is no longer the "original prototype".

I'd be concerned that doing so would leave your team in too narrow of a niche that it might not be able to clear some content. Waver's greatest strength are his skills, and you won't be leveling those up.

Enemies will not always make intelligent targeting decisions. All those Lv.70 support Jeannes absorb a ton of damage simply by just being there, because the enemy doesn't have the good sense to attack the nearly dead 71 HP servant instead.

And she does get a taunt skill, although that is with the final ascension. You'll want Georgios, if you want a tanky servant who has the taunt skill right now.
