On release, the Wii U version actually had better frame rate. After update, the Switch version is superior.

The issues with frame rate have been pretty much fixed and the game is pretty smooth. Its certainly as good as the Cemu version; if not better since the emulated version has still to be perfected.

in my experience I only got noticeable dips in kakariko, zora's domain, korok forest, and the great plateau. 2 of these no longer give me problems though.

It looks fun, it looks challenging and having played it I can attest to both being true. This player didn't take advantage of mounting the Lynel in order to bypass weapon durability but besides that played well enough to sustain damage (although he did use Daruk's protection). What is it about this that doesn't seem fun to you? In this battle alone he displayed a number of ways in which you can engage the enemy
