Everything was great until they kissed, and even that wasn't too bad. The finale ruined the whole season, it either needed to be another three episodes or an hour long special. Absolute shit pacing for the final outing.

Rick and Morty's problem is it got serious in tone and preachy as fuck. I hate when shows I like do that shit. Adventure Time, Moral Oral, and even fucking Family Guy is guilty of this.

As for SJ S5: I quiet enjoyed it all the way until the last episode. I can understand and live with the director killing off Ashi, but the episode as a whole left a lot of other things unfulfilled and was badly paced. The final episode should've been an hour long to do it proper.

It had shitty pacing, but I felt like the ending was ultimately done properly; Jack gets his goal, but now the future is undone, all those people he helped mean nothing, and Jack is again alone in the world. Hell, he's probably still immortal. The very ending implies that he's finally finding peace though and will be able to move on.

Although the romance was really rushed, i dont really minded it that much.
Episode 9 was great.
Episode 10 was fucking terrible, tho. Betrayed many themes of the series, took way too many easy ways out and made no sense, just for the sake of being bittersweet in a otherwise overall happy series.
