It has a wedding, it doesn't have romance. Even marriages that end in divorce generally begin with romance. Not all, but I can only assume most do.
BotW is all about everything happening off-screen. Calamity happens off-screen (and barely at all), Character Development... well that doesn't happen at all, except in the totally exclusive completely optional DLC pack (where it probably won't happen either). You don't actually see the romance between the two characterless vessels that get married, it happens while you're doing fetch quests.
