When Viking dlc was released it was kinda meh, buggy mess. Don't know about the others. The base game has everything you need and the main attraction about the game are mods, like Floris etc. You generally don't need DLC for those.

I know for a fact if I went from never playing Payday 2 to starting off with all the extra maps, weapons and upgrades they've done over the years I'd have like the game WAY more than buying it on launch and waiting like 4 years to finally get a reasonable amount of heists causing me to overplay every heist they release and end up hating most of them.

Asylum has better atmosphere, pacing and plot. City has more polished combat and more content but the plot can be a mess and the open world-ish setup detracts from the experience IMO.

They're entry level in terms of puzzle difficulty, nothing that will stump you (except maybe some stuff in the second game), but they're enjoyable. The writing is very good in both games though focused on humor. Second game is much longer and has more plot to it. I'd say they're worth experiencing at least once.

I'm kinda on the fence about Dishonored 2, I played the demo and it's kinda alright, though. I'm honestly a little surprised that they have a demo available, not too many games do that.

State of Decay YOSE I've heard a mixed bag about. I kinda dig base-building, I like survival-oriented games, but I've heard it's pretty janky.

Drankensang I have almost no real knoweldge of other than it's based on what is basically the German version of D&D, The Dark Eye, and looks vaguely similar to NWN2.

Kingdom: New Lands looks like a pretty comfy little pixelart game, and I love me some base-building with defense mechanics.

I've been having a bit of a hard time finding games that I'll be interested in. I got Sanctum 2, and that game's pretty rad kinda reminds me of Orcs Must Die 2, but you can have more people working together.Tower defense is kinda my jam, but I want a good base building game with defense being almost mandatory, like protecting a place you constructed from an enemy siege or something.

Definitely more simple than Arma, other than the leaning, walking and switching between first person/third person it feels like any other shooter.
There's a decent amount of attachements and guns but there's no such thing as a level system. After a few matches and trying out all the guns it will start to feel the same. As far as character customization goes you can equip some different shirts/pants/jackets.
Overall it takes quite a bit of time to use and explore everything the game has to offer.

King's Bounty: The Legend is a reimagination of the 1990's classic. Created by a Russian development team, Katauri Interactive, it provides steadfast Soviet quality with high production values.

Similar to the original, you pick up a single hero to go for an adventure and gather an army to fight for you. There's a lot of variety in units, covering your basic fantasy creature catalog in addition with different humanoid races, such as elves and dwarves. Creating a balanced army is a challenge of its own, for instance, if you ought to mix undead or demon units with humanoid soldiers and alike, the latter will lose morale and will to fight alongside those horrid monsters, unless you pick up traits to boost their bravery.

The battle mechanic is safe and familiar turn-based with hexagon tiles, while moving in the overworld happens in real time. There's a vast option of spells either to boost your own units, alter the battlefield or spread havoc among your enemies.

The game comes with an interesting marriage feature, where you can wed one of the female characters you meet and eventually have babies with her. Your wife and your children will provide different bonuses and she can also wear artifacts for you. If you break up with her, she will take a certain percentage of your gold and take away your children. Just like in real life! For all of you necrophiliacs in here, there's a zombie girl you can marry.

The world is huge. I mean, it's like freaking huge. You perform quests and come across with a lot of NPC encounters, which sometimes has different outcomes depending how you answer to them. There's a surprising amount of dialogue to read. Countless of dungeons and caverns are waiting for you to be explored. Even purifying a cursed object is a fight sequence of itself.

Played it for around 20 hours a few years ago and then lost my save file so I'm not the highest authority on the game.
It's got a great combat system for a JRPG which are usually rather boring to me, the story felt kind of childish in that the game hints heavily multiple times at some characters not being who they say they are despite it being obvious.
There was some grinding for an hour or 3 at one point where you're given a choice between progressing the story in 2 ways and if you choose the way I chose, you kinda have to grind cause the next boss fight is gonna be too hard. I'd warn you about when that happens but I forgot the details.
tl;dr it's worth 5€ if you feel like JRPG

I really enjoyed Hard West. It's slightly more clunky than XCOM and multiple, short campaigns have got divided opinions. It's still a fucking amazing game with its Weird West touch. If you've ever played Deadlands RPG, it's definitely a must have.

there is very little difference to plus and mystery chronicle
MC has better multiplayer and graphics
it also has some extra stuff like traps
main difference however is that they changed some terminologies to differentiate the game further from plus, and most if not all the bugs and performance issues are gone from the pc version

One Way Heroics is the original game. Plus is the expansion. Mystery Chronicles is a completely different game done by completely different people, and is actually part of the Mystery Dungeon series, a series of console focused "rogue-likes" by Chunsoft largely based on licensed 3rd party IPs. It is also terrible.

Nah not at all. The mainline games don't follow a cohesive story. Some elements like Magitek, Moogles, Chocobos and shit are recurring but the worlds and characters are completely unlinked

I have it and would recommend it, but you should know that it is very empty feeling and the main story doesn't pick up until the end of the game. Those are the most common complaints I've heard but the combat makes up for it, it's still one of my favorite games despite the flaws. But if you do want to buy it don't start off as a mage go Warrior or strider and switch to sorcerer when you get to gran sorren.
