SFV has a lot of people playing it as the skill ceiling is lower and there's a lot of 50/50 stuff in it. Which means there has been a lot of upsets and new players entering the scene as you don't need to practice as hard to be on par with top players

it was a failure but Capcom said they have plans to support SFV all the way to 2020. So plenty of time to make a profit still.

Also Infiltration said SFV is "gaining traction" in Korea right now, so who knows.
