Kotor has some funny stuff. Remember the mandalorian on Dxun who has troubles with electricity and he keeps typing on some terminal? Once I talked to him with a female character and he turned around while typing and he was typing on her tits. I wish I'd recorded that, it was quite funny.

I have been thinking about replaying the game with a lightside char that only uses pistols and force power. Will i be punished for this later on in the game?

No, pistols are OP as fuck. You just need to find/make decent upgrades for them, and you are set. Force Speed and Rapid Fire will be the only things you need. Maybe some Stasis and Wave if things get too close.
