That's fine in itself and I agree that to begin with you should play any game as close to how the devs intended, outside of fan patches and the like. I bought fallout 4 because of the steam sale and I've been enjoying it a lot more then I thought I would. Only thing that's annoying the shit out of me is my character randomly turning around to face away from the camera during conversations. Only had to use the console once to unstuck myself (used it again to give myself that cure from the vault quest because I refuse to run around for the rest of the game with some -10 health bullshit). I consider 4 to be better then nv/3, but in my defense I prefer gameplay over pretentious story.

I don't see what there is to dislike about it, not played 4 since launch but as I recall when you had it open you could still open the full inventory anyway. I think opening with a realtime quickmenu that puts the stuff you're most likely to care about like ammo and chems at the top works well to speed up the game and ties in well with the larger emphasis on combat. One of the few parts of 4 I thought to be an improvement.
