What are some vidya characters that could survive a containment breach at the SCP Foundation, /v/?
The D-Class from Containment Breach, probably.
>>382398152
>That ending where the D-class himself is labeled an SCP
imagine being so new you can't link threads
sonic if he had unlimited health and speed
>>382398201
what ending?
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-1417-j
>>382398289
It's actually an extended version of the first ending that didn't make it into the final cut.
"Subject appears to be detached from all human interaction, often breaking focus from people he is conversing with and performing odd actions such as jumping up on the highest platforms in the room, picking up and throwing objects across the room, and dropping items it was carrying on to the nearest person's head. Researchers are encouraged to ignore this behavior in order to discourage it.
Subject often goes in to brief trance-like states when startled, freezing up for periods lasting up to several minutes. After the time has passed, the subject will resume normal activity with no outward reaction to what has just happened.
Subject demonstrates extraordinary luck and complete mastery of even the most fatal of circumstances and an uncanny ability to predict even the most unpredictable of hazards, almost as if it has performed these impossible tasks several times before.
Further testing is required to determine whether the subject should receive SCP classification."
Really it's more a jab at him being a video game protagonist.

Pic related if he had his hazard suit on
I mean, he survived the Clusterfuck of Black Mesa and survived being hunted by the Combine
Although SCP-173,106 and 096 may be a pain in the ass
specially 173
>>382398239
>sonic if he had unlimited health
Literally anyone could if they had that.

><Clef>: [At this point. Dr. Clef reverted to an unknown language. SCP Linguists have analyzed the content of this audio file, and believe it to be a variant of ancient Sumerian.]

><Clef>: I never stopped loving you, you know.
><SCP-336>: I know.

Realistically, is there ever one of these types of threads where Doomguy isn't a viable answer?

>Clef and Kondraki are now fucking sword-fighting.
>One of the security personnel was noted as playing the Highlander theme over the security footage. They showed it to Able.
>"Sudden shout. A female voice can be heard shouting something like, "I cast Magic Missile!" There is a sudden sound of breaking metal, and a scream, then a loud roar."
>Now they're sword fighting while running down the hall.
>"10:00 Dr. Clef collapses. Black light turns into a fifty-foot dragon, breaking through the roof of the atrium and causing severe collateral damage to the surrounding facility."
>The scientist that is a dog who is piloting a mech is now fighting a dragon using a magic machine gun.
>"10:20 After engaging the creature multiple times, with no success, Kain Pathos Crow activates a previously unknown attachment of SCP-244, a sword of light emitting from the left upper arm, then engages the dragon once more."

What videogame characters should/are SCPs?
Pic related would be objectively the best possible crew to deal with them.
As long as a timeline where everything is fine exists, they will actively attempt to reach it.
Will this timeline be fucked beyond repair? Sure. But they will find a decent one at some point.

I absofuckinlutely LOVE the anti-memetic ones.

Fuck I always get chills at this one

Remove akane, there's a 66% chance she's behind everything being fucked.
>>382404001
They are completely irrelevant though. Reaching a timeline only means something for them. And even when they do that, their selves from that timeline end up being pushed to the shitty timeline they came from, and it's always in life-death situations meaning they die nearly instantly. If they play a protagonist role in saving the timeline, they will probably screw up dozens, maybe hundreds of timelines until they manage to do everything right. This is assuming the timeline they want to reach does not already exist in the first place - which would make their work completely irrelevant - and that they are trying to create a new, better timeline.
They are only good if the question comes from the point of view of the protagonist themselves, not from a spectator like us.

Tupac trying to tell us who is the nigga who killed him
Alright /v/, how would you do an SCP game?
>Multiplayer round game where you hunt a certain SCP played by one guy
>12 players are sent in to deal with a single SCP breaking out.
>Can use SCPs of certain types to help yourself survive
>SCP ranges from things like 096, 106, 049, 173, 035, and so on.
>Can write down field codes on walls
>Some SCPs can do it too just to fuck with you
>Sometimes there's even larger rounds where a bigger group of men have to kill things like 682

>Subject often goes in to brief trance-like states when startled, freezing up for periods lasting up to several minutes.
What is this in reference to? Pausing?
>>382406013
The player gets startled and takes their hands off the controls.
>>382406013
Going afk probably. like during a expo dump or waiting for the slow elevator. He'll even going to go take a piss, if nothing is happening on screen I rarely pause. A real person kinda does idle animations, a lot of first person games don't bother with them.
>>382406013
Probably pausing the game or going AFK.
>>382405019
>32 players
>30 of them will try to defeat the SCP
>1 player will be the SCP
>1 player will be a neutral SCP
>SCP is stupidly overpowered, always
>players can reach certain objectives that will give them an upper hand
>SCP will obviously try to not let them reach these and may even use reality bending abilities to achieve that
>SCPs are unknown and made in such a way that writing codes on the walls is a very valuable ability
