Laurence is easily the hardest boss in the game and it's mostly attributable to the small area you fight him in.

I actually feel the same way.

Not to say Ludwig didn't take me a few times (mostly because his first form is total bullshit with the flailing, the second form is easy as fuck though), but Laurence took me forever in comparison.

Another hot opinion coming in: Paarl gives me trouble every time I play through the game too, and I've played through with multiple builds. He's one of the only bosses I can't beat first time on a playthrough.

Paarl is a weird boss, it's possible to beat him really easily if you can get under him and knock out his legs a few times, but his animations can be really fucking deceptive.

The only bosses that legit still gives me troubles is Bloodstarved and Orphan of Kos.

Try to learn the timing on Paarl's electric blast, if you can consistently dodge it, he becomes piss easy, since it's his only way to get you out from under him.

I had more problems with Shadows of Yharnam than any other boss.

You can literally abuse Amy's AI to the point where she's a non-issue even at 1 HP. Stand behind her, she'll jump, don't move, hit her when she lands, repeat.
