But Sen's Fortress doesn't even compare to the best area in the Souls series.

Prisoner's chain makes it so much more bearable. Between it, some grass, and the evil eye ring to heal off mosquitoes if need be it's not even that bad, the annoying part is lack of visibility and framerate stutters.

I had way more trouble in Sen's fun house of horrors my first times through the game than I did blighttown.

You wanna know what area can completely fuck right off, though? Fucking new londo ruins.

God damn I hate that stupid fucking zone with its billion goddamn ghosts and transient curse requirement and my weapon glancing off walls trying to kill the fuckers and their annoying grab attack and their stupid fucking moans and as a reward for it all you get the stupidest fucking boss in the entire series, where you throw on full havels and mash r1 into the four (more than four) kings.

It's like that entire portion of the game had an aneurysm.

Bed of Chaos is lazy and stupid relying on cheap bottomless pits to kill you, but at least your progress doesn't reset between deaths and the boss run is very short.

4 kings isn't just a lazy copypasted boss it's a lazy copypasted boss that rewards you for playing badly. It's a shitty dps race where the most efficient tactic (and one basically required on NG+ and up) is to ignore dodging in favor of mindlessly mashing attacks and chugging through all damage the boss deals, since if you hesitate at all you just get ravaged by multiple of the assholes at the same time.

Fuck 4 kings, if nothing else they're proof how much a goddamn cunt kaathe is
