it's an RPGmaker game that directly interacts with the player with the main premise being that you only have ONE SHOT at saving the world/finishing the game

it was redone on steam which added a shitton more content, a third 'true ending' and removed the 'Niko dies when you close the game' mechanic you see in the OP

it's one of the highest rated games on steam with barely any negative feedback, i would highly suggest you check it out

in the steam version if youre smart you can unlock NG+ that gives you access to the 3rd ending, you can still play it after getting that ending but there's a small minor change that just doesn't make it the same

But in the original everything ends after you get one ending

The original OneShot came out in 2014
Undertale's demo came out in 2013, though I doubt this has any relevance.

Neither game ripped off the other.

This game is pretty cool! If you guys didn't know it's one of the highest rated games on Steam right now. Everyone loves it. You really should pick it up, very comfy game.

The Steam remake of this game was fantastic. Added so much stuff and a true happy ending for Niko.
