The very last fight of Prince of Persia 2: Warrior Within (back in the days, when Ubisoft was making good games). It was just a fight like Dark Souls, where you had to figure out when to jump/block/attack, etc.

It was quite boring, to be honest with you. It was mostly a matter of doing it over and over, until you killed it.

FFXII, SMT Strange Journey and Persona 3 are my favourite JRPGs but I hard quit at each of their final bosses. FFXII was doable but not with my retarded character builds.

I remember the onslaught of bosses at the end being a little bit of a bitch to deal with but NGB rewards the patient. I should go back and finish Very Hard sometime, then beat Master Ninja. Other games pulled me away from completing it full-stop.

This guy will always be an enigma to me. I understand why Yunalesca was hard, because she's not only supposed to be a strong being, but she's sort of an end boss for your journey, before you make a new goal to complete.
But this guy just shows up on Mt. Gagazet for no real reason, being stupidly tough for your standard level at that point in the game.

The save point before him is a trap too. I would always get him close to dead then he would Total Annihilation wipe me. Only to suffer that long cutscene again to retry. There was no satisfaction when I beat him in the end, only anger.

No. There was never a boss I couldn't beat. There is one boss that did make me rage quit the game for like a week before going back to it.

First time I fought him I didn't have any ways to prevent being charmed and he ended up getting Diaharan twice. The fight took over an hour and I eventually lost because I ran out of SP recovery items. I think it was the first time I ever raged at a video game. I don't even get salty when it comes to fighting games.

There are a few strategies that can put him in a logic loop. As far as I remember from my blind play through I used silence to make him waste a turn removing it and when he started charging his final move I used aeons' overdrive to burst him down.

Did you enter the door at the far left of the hall where you fight him at any point? Because if not, you were fighting him with the broken sword. If you got you class weapon, it takes maybe 5-6 hits to kill him after the falling attack.

Finally someone who else had trouble with this boss. I sold NG the first time I had it because I simply could not get past this part. Ended up getting the game again a year or two later and breezed past this part. Turns out when I first played the game I didn't know how to block.
