There was a digger type game for dumbphones, once I dug out every tile of the map. The map resets on exit so I had to do it in one go.

When I was like 10 or some autistic age I spent like a month playing Smash64 training mode with the camera zoomed in onto the character. I convinced myself that a great Smash player is able to fight with just the sound of the game alone.

When I got Melee at like 13-16 whenever I'd absorb someone with Kirby in free-for-all I'd roleplay as their clone friend and say lines from the game as I'd avoid hitting them. Eventually when we were the last two players I'd pretend the original character I absorbed betrayed me because he saw I was the more powerful fighter, even as a clone.

The DLC weapons have a separate achievement for unlocking them all, so no, base game are fine for the achievement you're thinking of.

There are three endings, one is completely useless as you won't fight the final boss, the other lets you fight the final boss and awards you the badge just before it puts you into NG+.
The last secret ending lets you battle the true final boss after killing the previous final boss, you'll get the badge after defeating the first one so you can just avoid killing the real final boss if you don't want to go into NG+ after getting the badge.

I play through Starbound every time it gets a major update and post a review about it.
I hate that fucking game so much, and it kills me to see how much Chucklefish ruins each and every update; they always seem so close to releasing a good update that adds good content, but no matter what they add, they manage to fuck it up.
All I can really do is warn as many people as I can how awful of a game it is and to not even consider supporting Chucklefish. I manually decorated all my houses in oblivion with insane attention to detail. I often use these powers to dominate and control our world in its current state, or imagine doing abstract and complex plans with the major players of other games worlds; ie; becoming the new Emperor of Cyrodil in Elder Scrolls by using the magic from Magicka and magic robes found in Dungeon Crawl stone soup, plus the runes and enchantments from Fable, etc.

Racked up at least 500 hours in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance on one save file. Didn't even get to 100% the game because I fucked up and got rid of a few key items.
Spent a lot of time just trying to find the best possible combination of classes/abilities while still maintaining a pretty good balance between the races and variety of classes. It got to the point where I made backstories for almost every character in the party and started shipping them with each other, making up scenarios and dialogues in my head.

All of that you just explained is achievable in life, and it's a lot easier than you'd imagine.

I once spent a day marathoning the original Metal Gear Solid and beat it 6 times in a single 16-ish hour period.

I've spent over 1000 hours playing BotW but I can't get past the beginning trials in the new DLC

I spend more time here and browsing Steam store and micro managing my PC games and emulators than actually playing

Ages ago in Elite 2 - Frontier I spent 2 or 3 weeks playing for few hours everyday just cycling between 2 systems hauling robots and fertilizer sor some small profit untill I was able to buy my beloved Panther Clipper.
No missions, no courier work, no exploring the galaxy, just a plain boring everyday work, buy fertilizer, fly to Ross something, buy robots, return. For weeks.
