No. The end-game, if anything, is grinding upgrades - the "skins" (nobody calls them this since they're not skins, they're separate items of clothing like shoes, shirts, hats) are extremely cheap and easy to acquire, but barely matter as the important aspect are their effects (which have to be grinded out).

Bomberman's pretty good, if you've never bought Cave Story or you want the added bonus of portability, I'd recommend picking that up. They're adding local multiplayer, and I imagine it's pretty fun with a friend.
Snake Pass is 12 bucks right now, as opposed to 20. I've seen some gameplay of it and it looks alright.
Disgaea is nice if you're into RPGs like that.
And yeah, I wouldn't double dip on BotW personally. I just tried it out on the Wii U by pirating, but I definitely wouldn't pay 60 again just for portability.

Those last two really go hand in hand. The Wii U was, while weaker than the competitors, as long as the games maintained a good artstyle they could look beautiful (see Splatoon, MK8D, BotW). Games like Mario Odyssey and Splatoon 2 look fantastic. It's all about being a smart game dev.
And the third party has returned really, the fact that fucking Rocket League and Minecraft (regardless of your personal feelings about either) is on this thing is proof of that.

Those are just two examples. While of course they're not going to have the huge third parties on board (ie. Ubisoft) they've got a shitton of them onboard already with some of their smaller games (Dragonball Xenoverse 2), and depending on how those do, more will be coming. For example, the team behind Dragonball FighterZ is waiting to see how Xenoverse 2 does to see if there's support for the switch. Of course devs are going to be a bit cautious with the reputation of the Wii U, so larger third party titles are definitely coming once they've proven themselves with some of the smaller games.
I don't even need to say anything about indies, practically every indie dev is jumping on the Switch train.
