No, the skills are part of the planning stage.
It does that because your crit stars are distributed randomly after you go into attack mode, and crit stars can make you change the attack pattern you thought you'd use.

Because everyone is Lv.40 and I don't have the ascension materials to get them any higher than that right now. Plus, I'm concerned that the tickets might refresh at the end of the month. Black Keys are 3*, and so can be sold in the shop for a mana prism each.

How CEs in general work: you can feed them to other CEs for EXP and to level them up. That will boost the +ATK and +HP values of the card. You can also feed duplicate CEs to each other. This sort of works like Servant Noble Phantasm/Ascension, except you just feed them as normal. You boost the max level of the CE by a certain amount for each duplicate you feed it, and if you feed four then the CE's ability gets an upgrade as well.

There is no "same class bonus" with CEs so feel free to feed whatever into whatever.

In general, higher star CEs will still have better abilities (even un-upgraded) than lower star CEs, even after their upgrade. I'm not sure if the higher star CEs, maxed out to their Lv.20, would give better stats than the Lv.60 maxed 1* CEs that have been fed duplicates.

Her first skill sucks unless you fully upgrade it. It has a 50% success rate (minus status resist) at level 1, and up to 100% at level 10. That's quite a ways off.
Still better than Jeanne's "reduce NP damage" skill.

Her second skill is a self ATK buff for two turns, very nice right before a NP or when you really need to throw out the damage in Buster cards.

Her third skill apparently gives her a NP boost and ups the amount of NP she collects.

Her NP is quite good, apparently one of the better attack-all NPs in terms of damage. It's also a Quick card, which means can combo well with other Quick card users and even Quick NPs for lots of crit damage.

For her standard attacks, she generates a lot of crit stars and generally does good NP regen, thanks to having a lot of hits on her attacks. You should probably try using a NP charge increase Craft Essence and see if you can find a Waver friend to throw out her NP more frequently. Other than that, probably pair her with Assassins or Caesar, who also make use of Quick cards frequently.

Give them a try and see what works out for you. Medea has a self-NP charge skill so she is good for tossing out her NP frequently, and I'd imagine that would be even better with Waver. Robin is less so, but he means you wouldn't have two Casters and can status (and learns his own NP charge skill after ascension).

And in either case, you'd probably want to stick the other in the back row of your party, in case someone drops. You might also try friending a few people with a high level Vlad, just to see how well Jeanne/Medea/Vlad works out.

Some characters have a AOE Noble Phantasm.

Other than that, there are no AOE attacks. However, if you want to hit multiple enemies, you can set it up specifically so that different characters attack (such as everyone using their own Buster card) and will move onto attacking the next opponent once the existing one is dead.

Master has a skill which heals, based on the clothing level you've achieved.

Some characters have a self-heal skill.

Very few characters have a heal-other or all-heal skill.

And then there is the rare NP, which either heals the user or heals the party.

Honestly, healing isn't as good as Dodge or Guts, which can keep a character alive regardless of how much damage gets thrown their way. 500 HP or even 2000 HP is fairly trivial at higher levels.

I got gud at operation record and finished rerolling by getting the two 5*s I want, but I wanna see if I can use Operation Record on Memu to create a couple macros to reliably play through all of Fuyuki for Saiba Alter rerolls as an experiment

What tricks should I use to make this shit as painless and reliable as possible? Current quick ideas are
>Set the support list to sort by HP, LVL, or ATK to have a strong support around to carry missions
>Dump all the starting mailbox xp into the guaranteed tutorial 4* servanto
>Have the macro farm the daily 20/30 xp mission so it'll have enough AP to clear Fuyuki in one go

If I can get this working to the point I like, I'll share the macros in the threads

Whichever you want. Story will keep things interesting, since you are at the "intended" level, and it's probably why you are playing anyways. But dailies will let you max characters and grab ascension materials to keep going, along with mana prisms for stuff in the shop. It depends on if you really want high level characters RIGHT NOW to clear all the content, and want those tickets, or if you just want the story and don't care about which servants you currently have.

Depends on the servant, they all have varying degrees of NP gain and while certain servants like Merlin or Waver can increase the NP gauge of the party, others like Gilgamesh can only increase their own and that's with consideration to skill cooldowns.
Illya has a passive NP charge however but she's single-target

Daily quest are divided up into Beginner, Intermediate, Master, etc. difficulties. Just look at the ones labeled Master. They're probably the 30AP or 40AP ones.
