Did anyone else decide to join the reVRlution in the summer sale? I've got to say I'm really fucking impressed with VR.

Games like Superhot, Serious Sam First Encounter, Star Trek, The Golf Club, Dirt Rally and Gorn really highlight how much of a huge leap forward in gaming it is.

Action games are more exhilarating, horror games are scarier, the level on control with your hands is incredible. I thought VR might be a meme but it really is the future.

Sidenote: Being an early VR adopter kind of feels like when home internet was relatively new, the paywall really improves the quality of people you encounter online, it's pretty comfy being a VR gamer right now :3

VR gaming is a meme that is already taking way too much time to die
>>
Anything more than 500 is still way too goddamn much for this.

Like, 300, tops.

PSVR's 500-ish should be the absolute high end point for these things.

>$50 off
>you don't pay $50 less, instead you just buy a steam wallet funds

Fucking kikery.

You sure? I'm pretty sure its 50 off & you get a 50 wallet card..

This. First post, best post. VR is an overpriced gimmick. https://youtu.be/L2sCJpR3x8o

>strap screens to your face
>it's a revolution in gaming omgosh

I don't listen to people who use the term "revolution" in a positive light.

It's $50 less, the shipping is free, you get a $50 steam card and a $50 game, if you're going to buy vr games for your new vive on steam and get star trek anyway then it's essentially over $150 discount
>>
I got a vive in the sale but my room is too small for it, I keep hitting things and destroying my room :(

Even then it's 850 eurobucks here.
I can get it for 800 in various online stores no strings attached.

Still waiting for 2nd generation devices anyway, current ones resolution doesn't cut it.

>already taking way too much time to die

Because it's not dying, friend.

Lazy bait.
>>
>buying the vive when valve is already making a better controller for it
